Sales Manager--Engineered Materials

To identify and develop new business and market opportunities for EM distribution products throughout China  and sustainable business growth, in accordance with Company objectives and targets

To help define direction of future Engineered Materials distribution business developments in China, in close collaboration with Engineered Materials Head of Sales and RAP Distribution Services.

Requirements:

·       Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales and sound understanding of engineering polymer, including at least 5 years managing Sales in Engineered Materials.

·       Experience in a senior management position for a similar business/industry in multinational companies.

·       Experience in multi-site management.

·       Experience in Matrix organization will be added advantage

·       Chemical distribution background – sales and product management, minimum 10 years.

·       Tertiary qualifications in Science/Business or other related field is preferred.

·       Team player with ability to work with and motivate the existing sales team members.

·       Sound understanding of the Engineered plastics industries.  Knowledge of other industries (GIA) is a bonus.

·       Proven initiative in identifying and progressing new business opportunities.

·       Able to ‘look’ outside the box for solutions, and also to work effectively with supply chain, accounts and other business functions.

·       Languages: Must be fluent in Mandarin and English – other desirable languages.
